Number plate light out warning problem !

My 2011 A3 8P 2.0 Tdi

Keeps throwing up a number plate light out warning on my dash but when I check both lights are working fine !!

Its been doing this on almost every journey for a week or so.

I know some of you will probably say don't worry as long as the lights are working, but the warning on the dash winds me up, hence me posting to see if anyone else has had or knows what's causing this.

I have searched the forum but not found any answers upto now.

Cheers for any useful replies.
