mj.wr Posted May 8, 2021 Share Posted May 8, 2021 Hello! So I just want to start off saying I have very minimal mechanical knowledge so just wanted some advice. Sometimes after doing a hill start or going round a roundabout, having revved it a little - the clutch after feels a little "grainy", probably the best word to describe it lol. As well as the gearbox then feels a little stiff, after a short while it goes back to normal. Any idea what's happening? or is this normal? Audi A3 TFSI 1.0 115bhp - 2017 - 58K Miles. Thanks, Max. Steve Q Posted May 9, 2021 Share Posted May 9, 2021 Hi Max it sounds like the clutch is slipping, which I admit is unusual with the car having such low mileage. If it has to be changed, then you'll be looking at a big bill as it's both the clutch and duel mass flywheel that have to be changed. Definitely worth getting a garage to check it over.
