Programming turbo actuator

Featured Replies

Hello all.

have a issue that apparently no one in the country can solve not even Audi .

Had to have a new actuator on my turbo .my car is a 3.0 A6  year 2005. Now brought the BorgWarner actuator the same make as the one that was knackered. But now been told it needs to be programmed before anyone can set the waste gate  limits..

now seen a video on you tube how to do this it’s a 5 minute job . It’s a handheld unit that does the programming. but now been trying for 5 days to find someone who can do it .

been told no one in the country has this machine not even Audi because they don’t build my engine anymore so obsolete.

does anyone know where I could get this done. I’m Leicester based

cheers Neil

What the hell! Good job I didn't take my Audi there then. How can you be a specialist if you don't do engines?!

The garage I use is AC motor services in Syston. They're pretty good and have kept my a6 on the road since it was 3 years old.
