Fob key /alarm not working

Can anyone help me my Audi A6 sline 1.9tdi  2003 

I cannot lock the car with the fob key or alarm it I can only lock and in lock it manually with the Kay

Please see my thread just below yours. I've had a similar problem and I've had the driver's door lock module replaced which fixed the central locking. But the remote side of it still isn't working so it looks like it's either the remote receiver which is either ont the driver side in the boot or under the passenger side front footwell. 

The other thing it could be is the ccm which is also under the passenger side front footwell. 

I next job will be to get either of these checked and replaced. 

Are your footwell carpets wet at all? As the ccm can fail after being submerged in water. This can be caused by a cracked pollen filter housing or blocked drains holes on the battery holder.
