Exhaust enhancement

Has any one any ideas why the exhaust enhancement has stopped working on my sq5 is a simple fix 

To my knowledge isn't it a speaker that enhances the sound? If so it could be a wiring issue or speaker issue? My advice would be to get a diagnostic check or get an auto electrician look for failed wiring.
