Hi all, a while back my 2.5tdi v6 suffered the dreaded injector pump failer! Have since done an engine change from 2.5tdi BDG to 1.9tdi AVF from the b6.

All is good drives well and no engine check light, however abs, esp and brake light on and can't get an MOT like this. Fault codes are 01314 engine control module no Comms.     18055/P1647 check coding of ecu's on power train data bus.

Fitted b6 AVF 1.9tdi engine with engine wiring loom and ecu with immobiliser, egr deleted. Didn't change cluster or ignition key. Should I of changed these as well?

Any help much appreciated.

 

I believe the cluster us tied in with the other systems. Plus the abs module etc might need coding to the new ecu. 

OK time to find the correct cluster and code in the new ecu to the car.
