Elite Motorsport will field three new generation Audi RS 3 LMS cars in the 2022 TCR Italy championship season.

The Brescia-based team has already taken delivery of one of the three Audis and will enjoy receive support from the Ingolstadt manufacturer.

Having already collected the car, the team will start testing before the Christmas break ahead of the 2022 season.

“We are proud to announce such an ambitious programme and to be part of the Audi Sport family”, said team principal Nicola Novaglio.

“It will be a very important commitment under the Audi wing, and we want to pay back their trust with great results. We will also have a professional coach to support our drivers. We will have the benefit of high-profile technical support from Audi starting from the pre-Christmas tests with the RS 3 LMS.”

The team will also field two DSG-equipped Audis in TCR Italy, which is set to be made up of seven rounds in 2022. The driver line-up of the team will be announced in the coming weeks.
