Water leak from boot

Featured Replies

Hi has anybody had an issue with the boot lid filling with water when in a car wash, when I opened the lid water was pouring out through the plastic trim in to my boot.

I have removed the 2 drain plugs and it is now empty but require a fix, my feeling is it is getting in from around the spoiler and I have stripped the interior plastics and undid 4 screws but could not remove the spoiler to check seals.

any advice would be appreciated before I return the car as I have only had it 9 days.

There is also a wire that seems to be cut, anyone know where it is supposed to go?

thanks all

Get it back to the dealer asap! You have 30 days for a full refund. Water could be coming in via the rear wiper. Are you sure it's not the rear washer pipe that's come off inside the boot panel?
