DPF filter light and Limp mode

Hi everyone. 

Need some help.

recently i had AD-BLUE delete and stage 1 remap done which was few days ago as had issues with ad-blue sensor and tank so A4audi in glasgow recommended the ad-blue delete and remap.

Everything was fine till past two days i got the Dpf filter light and limp mode isssues.

I have scanned via my rosstech hex-v2 cable and get the following errors.

Now i tried to take on motorway while forcing regen according to ross tech website but still not resolved.

i also saved this information if this helps after 2 hours of driving on 3rd gear and above 2500-3000revs.

Hi most Adblue deletes are legally sold on the understanding that the the car will not be driven on public roads therefore they are able to do it, lots of people have this done which is fine until the government introduce the new legislation and particle analysing equipment in to the MOT system, its coming, the Adblue helps with regeneration of the DPF, which in your case allied to the extra fuel used with the remap and the lack of Adblue may result in the regeneration cycle not being of sufficient duration to clear the soot particles and as Audi use a very low soot/ash calculation will cause it to block more quickly so try a forced regeneration as from your data the fault has only occurred once.

Hi the timing out is so you don't cook the car, did you delete the light and codes before trying to regen as it won't work with the light/codes still present, delete and try again also did you have a look at the soot/ash loadings after the run.

Hi second one down is what it thinks its got, the third one down is what its got real time, this is really strange also is the DPF light still on? and is all the reductant pump information still present.

Not sure if I should bite the bullet and change the dpf sensor and then try doing regen again as the calculated soot level showing 44.65g and measured mass soot showing -2.44g. I've tried clear codes but the engine dpf codes won't clear so didn't do a regen again as I'm guessing it will time out again after 1 hour.

Have you got a code for the DPF sensor as this will show as reading high. Also is it VCDS you are using as the live data for the sensor should give you an indication of its operating values.

Thinking about it it could well be the DPF pressure sensor as the ECU uses that and algorithm to do a soot mass calculation and for what a decent sensor costs its worth a go.

I'm using a genuine Ross tech VCDS hex-v2 with the latest vcds software. Im not getting any error codes for the sensor but I'm tempted to replace the sensor and then see if it helps clear the codes and also force regen.

Hi I am certain you only have the one shown as  that has both pipes for measuring the pressure before the DPF and after the DPF there would be no point in having two sensors I suspect the one behind might only have one pipe and that would be to do with boost control or MAP pressure.

Hi you have lost me just looked on ETKA generic part finder and the the diagram only shows one unit for that year of vehicle but your pictures say otherwise so therefore it would seem you may well have to change and re adapt both. According to my Autodata fault finder excessive soot calculation is a classic sign of sensor failure.

I searched online myself and only see one of them sensors but when I seen two sensors in mines i was just as confused.
