Tom Moger Posted April 16, 2022 Share Posted April 16, 2022 Hi I've recently purchased an A5 that had previously been in and accident and repairs had been carried out before my purchase , both of the driver's side doors have been replaced and no longer lock on the central locking ,the car is a ,63 plate would the modules in these two doors need coding as they aren't the original modules or do I need to get 2 modules that match the car ? Any information would be a great help as before I purchased I didn't know these two doors didnt lock also the indicator on the drives door mirror doesn't work I presume this is to do with the modules ? Steve Q Posted April 17, 2022 Share Posted April 17, 2022 You'll need to get the modules coded so they'll talk to the rest of the central locking.
