Gearbox Malfunction problem

Hi every one.                                                      I m new to this and I need help with my Audi A7 Sline 3.0 Tdi 2012 . When I m driving more then 10 or 12 miles it gives me in dash sign Gearbox Malfunction fail keep driving with no Reverse Gear car is still in Audi from last 4 months cause of I bought extra warranty from Motor easy and they decline to replace gear box well cut it short .I took it Audi and first they say need to replace the key which causing this problem which I paid £459.00 and it won’t work then they say need to change gearbox they give me price  which £11569 that’s where motor easy decline my repair .

so kindly if any help I will be very thankful .

Yes mate but I don’t know it’s a gear box or electrical mostly people talking about electric cal fault or some mechatronic

The modules can fail a d I suspect that'll be cheaper than a new gearbox.
