RMC MMI

Featured Replies

Hi

I have the following MMI setup  RMC_EU_P1342B. Can anyone tell me if it can be updated or upgraded please. The functionality is quite basic and would like to play movies. I'm not interested in swapping out hardware though.

@Zed-head369 Im in the same boat just purchased A6 2016 Ive been quoted £120 by local shop to update maps and firmware, will see if its possible. Been told due to the RMC only a Dealer can upgrade and quoted silly money.

Gotta be honest Mark. The MMI I had in my 2010 A4 was better than this one. Played DVD and had hard drive. Was disappointed with the spec on the A6. One thing they both have in common is that the SatNav is no where near as good as Google Maps. Even with an update. Might save my money and sellotape the phone to the pop up screen when I need TwatNav 😆
