MMI screen “initialising” and “power unit failure”

Featured Replies

Audi A3 2021

hi,

I’ve read a few forums in regards to issues with the MMI screens in the Audi A3 2021 cars. I have been experiencing problems with my MMI screen cutting out and coming up with “initialising” for periods of time meaning I can’t use my phone or say nav whilst driving. I am also getting a message frequently saying “power unit failure-contact workshop” my car has been in the garage with Audi on 3 separate occasions since December 2021 and the garage are saying there is no faults detected and Audi have no know issues that they are aware of.

My car is only out of the garage yesterday after Audi saying they found nothing, not really sure where to go from here .

is anyone else getting issues like these.

thanks

Well there is an issue which as you say is well documented. Currently there's no fix from Audi yet and it'll come out as a recall when they do have a fix. I'd leave the car with them until the car shows the fault.

Lots of documented mmi issues. Audi are trying to find a fix. My advice would be to get it booked in to be looked at by your Audi dealer.
