A3 convertible cuts out then won't start

Hi get the car diagnosed with a scanner the code that comes up will give you a clue to whats failing, wild guess is its a fuelling problem possibly the lift pump in the tank.

Yeah checked with diagnostic no fault found apart from passenger door lock!

door lock not a fault?

did you clear /repair the door lock ?

Unless that was a professional grade scanner it can not be relied upon. The cheap scanners from China are cheap for a reason.
