Hello all.

I'm new here and to owner clubs in general, so be gentle please 😉

So I have just purchased a 2011 Tdi non quattro. The second hand dealer recharged the aircon before pick up and all seemed fine. Now when I try and activate it, instead of illuminating green I just get a red light whilst the button is depressed.

As I'm no mechanic I'm hoping someone may be able to tell me to make a check on something hear or there as the garage may have missed something???

If not is there a blow by blow to check the system myself??

If you bought it less than 30 days ago then you can get the dealer to fix it. You could get a diagnostic check carried out to see what fault codes flag up. It could be a failed compressor so expect an expensive bill if so.
