I am looking at purchasing a 1.6 diesel A3 Tfsi. Does anyone have any advice on what to look out for, any common faults with these etc.? T.I.A

Have a look at buyers guides on YouTube. The cars you're looking at should have had the Cambelt and water pump changed by now. 

Also check to see when gearbox oil has been changed when looking through the service history.
