Clutch been repaired but getting vibrations at 2000rpm

Featured Replies

Hi there

in need of some help on what could be wrong with my car 2011 Audi a3 2.0l tdi automatic transmission, triptronic

had a new dsg clutch fitted by garage and driveshafts replaced everything been ok until I’m getting vibration in the car at around 2,000rpm is there anything that anyone can think of that might have gone wrong.
car runs fine no slips or sticking gears run through fine

I’m just puzzled and in need of some sort of answer

thanks Richie

If the vibration was not present before the garage worked on your car, take it back. The mechanic may have forgotten something as simple as an engine mount not being fitted correctly for example.

Hi if its DSG it might be the shims are slightly out on the new clutch, and ask a silly question did they change the flywheel.

Steve.
