Hello all,

I have a pretty frustrating fault code on my dash for several months. I have been to several different local and non-local mechanics. I have also went to 2 different Audi Dealers. The code I have is (b103811) pedestrian protection trigger and have a passenger airbag fault code. I have read that it could be the circuit under passenger seat not having enough circuit. They both claimed it’s the first time they’ve seen this issue. I was suggested to take out my dash and replace the control unit. I also can not find anything in relation to this online. I do not have this option on my car. Any help?

I think you might be better off taking it to an auto electrican. The wire under the passenger seat could just be loose and would be the easiest thing to check. 

Not claiming your problem is associated with this, but dirty contacts in under-seat connectors do cause issues.
