Steve Q
Statement from beaulieu Due to the continued rain this week here at Beaulieu, some areas of the grass parking within the attraction are currently unsuitable for parking vehicles on. The forecast for the weekend is improving, however at this stage we cannot predict which areas of parking within the attraction will be unusable by Sunday morning. Therefore, in order to maximise the amount of parking we are able to offer all our participants, we have made the decision that we cannot allocate specific areas for club parking within the event on this occasion. If clubs still wish to park with as many of your members as possible, we recommend that you ask your members to assemble in our early arrivals car park, which is sign posted on the way in to the attraction, and then enter the event together in convoy. Our parking stewards will then endeavour to park you as a group. We will only be able to offer this as long as space permits in our early arrivals car park and until 10am. After this time any arriving vehicles will be directed straight to the participant entrance. For any individual club members that need hard standing due to accessibility issues, we will reserve an area on our arena for them as long as space permits. We do ask that you follow the directions of our stewards at all times, and to drive considerately when on the wet ground. We hope that you understand our decision required to ensure the event goes ahead, and thank you for your continuing support of Simply Audi at Beaulieu. Steve Q
Further details: View this email in your browser We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to Simply Audi this Sunday at Beaulieu. Entry with your vehicle is from 9am until 2pm, please do not arrive before this time. A catering outlet will be open serving bacon rolls, teas and coffees along with other refreshments throughout the day. The Brabazon Restaurant will also be opening early for refreshments until closing. What we ask you to do Please do not arrive early. You can arrive from 9am. The National Motor Museum will open at 10am and Palace House will open at 11am. Please ensure you have downloaded your ticket email and where feasible, printed this email as this will make entry quicker and easier for all participants. Please ensure you have tickets covering all persons (including under 5’s who now require a ticket) arriving in your vehicle. Advanced tickets are encouraged to help speed up arrivals. Additional tickets are available to purchase online here until 2pm on the day. Our Simply rallies will go ahead come rain or shine so best to be prepared for all eventualities the English weather may bring. Tickets available - on the gate Please note that tickets for Simply Audi will also be available to purchase on arrival. Payments via card preferred. Update on Ground Conditions Due to heavy rain over the past few weeks, there are large areas of parking within the attraction grounds that are unusable this coming Sunday. Good weather is forecasted for tomorrow and we are hopeful that by Sunday the conditions will improve. However, we have taken the difficult decision to not offer club parking areas as we are unable to assign specific areas of ground in advance of the event. This has been communicated to all club organisers today. Those arriving together will be parked together on the day where feasible and we will have the early arrivals car park assigned for waiting until 10am to assist in accommodating members wishing to still park together. Please follow the instructions of our stewards on the day and drive sensibly over grass areas. Visiting the Beaulieu Attraction Your Simply Audi participant ticket includes entry into all of the attractions here at Beaulieu. Find out more about what’s to see before you visit on our website. The National Motor Museum is open until 5pm and you can stay on-site until closing time. Driving carefully in the Forest We do ask that you drive carefully and responsibly when attending our events, both on the highway and our roads once on site. Please take care when exiting onto the highway, traffic measures will be in place at some of our larger events and the police do monitor our events carefully. We are very lucky to be located in the heart of the New Forest, with free-roaming animals, many cyclists and walkers enjoying the Forest. To allow everyone to enjoy the area, please keep to the speed limit (40mph max) and be respectful to our neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum as you enter and leave Beaulieu. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday and hope you enjoy your day!

Trevor
Great to see a few familiar faces who turned up for the show and although a smaller contingent this year (mainly due to the massive amount of rain we have had recently) it was still quite a sizeable show. I'm sure that one of many potholes in the roads approaching Beaulieu had claimed more than a few rims on the day 😒

Gutted I missed Stuart and another couple of members. But a great day had by all. How'd your swap meet go afterwards?

No shame I didn't spot them either as the showground did seem a bit mixed up on the day It was a vintage motorcycle scramble and was superb thanks....plenty of smoke, fumes and noise, just what I like (although I'm sure Greta would not approve) 🙂
