"New" A8 Owner

Featured Replies

Hello All,

I have just bought a A8 4.2 Quattro. Really amazing condition and under 100K for £4,700.00. Seemed a bargain! A few issues to sort. Not sure about the 21" alloys or the stainless steel exhaust either. Not very subtle.

This is my third A8 having had a couple of D2s previously and always regretted selling them.

Cheers!

David

Hi David, wish you all the best  looks fantastic hope you get lots of happy motoring, regards Dave Wise

Great car. I've owned A8's non stop since around 2000, from D2 V6 to D4s and V8 TDIs. I do agree D3 was a brilliant model.

I had real trouble with 21" rims, with two cracking dangerously. Probably due to all the potholes in the South of UK. I went extreme and managed to fit some 17" rims, which were a very close fit over the huge floating discs on the 4.2 TDI. These had really high profile tyres so looked a bit odd but were so much better ride than the 21's
