SQ8 TDI - Exhaust

Featured Replies

New here - I've been reading a few of the threads here around the TDI and exhaust and it seems due to UK laws etc that different countries have the ability to have 4 exhaust tips or 2, unfortunately, the UK fits into the 2 bracket. When I test-drove the car I was somewhat disappointed with the sound of it. I know some people are going to instantly say ABT which is fine and i am happy to pay, but i am unclear on how to tell if it's going to work? I have the car in mind, and i have asked the dealer to confirm that the engine code per ABT's device is a DHVA engine. and when you go from comfort to dynamic etc you can hear that slight tone change.

I guess what my question here is, is do i need to do anything other than plug such device in?
I believe this video here - just a standard Q8 with a ABT body kit has it - https://youtube.com/shorts/TbGTlGp8isA?feature=share

Would any body be able to confirm this for me?
