Parking sensors need swapping

Featured Replies

Hi,

My A4 has the parking sensors plugged into the opposite slots. So if my front right sensors are going off they show up as on the front left on the screen. The same applies to the rear sensors. Where do I find the place to swap them over?

How long have you had the car?

Have the sensors previously worked ok?

Any recent evidence of accident repair?

Obviously wires could be wrong way round but could always be a module issue.

Have you had a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up

I recently purchased the car. And have checked the service history and it doesn't show any repairs done from an accident.

I ran a diagnostics on it and the only faults where 1 audio/navigation/communications and 2 under systems (it came with a list steering angle sensor, access/start authorisation, central electronic, CAN gateway, steering assist and information elecr).

If it is the module where in the car would it be and how easy is it to replace?

Thanks.
