Front bumper trim options

Featured Replies

I’m due to receive my new S-Line Avant shortly which will be exactly the same as the first picture, but I’ve always been undecided about the silver trim around the front bumper / fog lights. I think I prefer the ones on the black edition but I didn’t want the full black edition.

I’ve also noticed that on some of the black edition S-Lines that the trim is only partly high gloss black but on others the whole section is high gloss black as per other two pics.

Firstly thoughts on changing the silver trim and secondly can anyone explain the difference on the gloss issues.

You should just be able to change the trim.

Yes I’m looking at that as one option. The others are wrapping the chrome part or respraying it black.

The only issue with wrapping or painting them, is that It could affect your warranty

I think they would be hard pressed to void your warranty because you wrapped or painted a bit of exterior trim that serves no purpose other than cosmetic.
im not even sure what could possibly be claimed for under warranty in respect of that. If the wrap or respray is crap then it’s my own fault.

I guess it would depend if you had to make a perforation warranty claim. But I get what you're saying
