Audi Peterbrough have had my A3 for 4 weeks and can’t resolve the Drive system error( won’t engage a gear, drops into limp mode and will not move)

now saying it’s the gear selector but I’m feeling a little but messed around. It’s been in and out of the workshop but never resolved and they won’t let me have it back. The dash lights up like a Christmas tree…

any other similar issues? Car fault wise, as the dealership are god awful.

Audi still can’t officially tell what’s wrong, gear selector? Software? Hardware? Or just a dead car… only done 23,000

in fact it’s brilliant car but this delay is so bad and unprofessional!

I'm sure they know the issue but under warranty they are not keen to fix until Audi or Germany advise how to proceed.

If you've bought it with finance I'd recommend you speak to the finance company. Advise them the car isn't fit for purpose due to the faults. They might fight your corner to get the finance agreement cancelled under the terms of not fit for purpose. This will cause Audi to fix the car or if it can't relieve you of it.
