Hi guys look all over but can't find any posts on this .

So I had an issue today on the q7 it sounded like diesel knock when cold which seemed to get progressively worse when under load uphill climb etc

Got it home and stopped it and an hour later went out to start it up and read codes it started briefly then died and would not restart 

The only code I could see was fuel pressure to low so I cleared the code and tried to restart ..nothing.

But now no codes present either 

Any pointers from anyone would be great guys even a start point .

Hope you had a good Christmas, from the sounds of it I think it needs a garage to diagnose it properly. If it's a fuel pressure issue could it be the pump.
