Would a 2016 A5 wing mirror fit a 72 plate A5 sportback been told from 2016 onwards there all the same Thanks also it looks exactly the same and the code underneath SMR ASP 2105 matches on both

As long as it's a MK2 version then yes it will.

Thanks mate Yes mines like the white one a new shape sportback so would the wing mirrors be the same from 2016 onwards? They look identical from pics iv seen

As long as they look the same shape then they'll be ok. The only other thing to bare in mind is that the electrical connector may differ depending if it's powerfold mirror or not.

They look identical but the sticker on my wing mirror says 8W8857409Q9B9 and the ones iv been looking at which look identical say 8W6857409AC

As I say it might depend if ones powerfolding and one might not.
