Over revving S3 8v *help*

Featured Replies

Hi, Everyone IAM a newbie to the forums, but wondering if anyone can help me, I have an Audi S3 8V had problems from day one when I first got the car, the car would rev if I put my foot down, but not even fully flat maybe 75% the way down and the revs would shoot up then I would have no power, at first I thought it was the clutch, but it's intermittent.

some days It pulls like a truck others it does that and over revs, fiddled with everything, bought a carrista obd reader tried to play with the settings thinking the previous owner may of done this, but still no hope.

just wondering if anyone else has this problem or knows what this is, I changed the air filter and cleaned the air filter box out, I felt like that helped but then the next day, it came back again. Any help would be appreciated

Thank you.

Sam
