Fuel Catalyst pellets put in fuel tank via filler

Featured Replies

I have recently purchased an A4 Avant Sline 2 Lt Diesel 13 plate and wish to put Fuel Cat Pellets into Fuel Tank via the filler tube rather than removing sender unit and placing in tank . Has anybody had experience of this? The pellets are circular, approx 18mm by 8mm, flying saucer shaped.

Please let us know why you want to stick these suppositories in your tank Rex?

Hi Gareth thats the most hysterical description of these things I have ever heard, thanks for making my day, anything remotely solid going in a fuel tank sounds very steer clear, everybody else uses liquid additives.

Steve.

It hasn’t been a good couple of days, but ticking over OK, so you have to try to find a bit of humour where you can - enough miserable old sods about to annoy you - so lovely to hear it’s made someone’s day. Perhaps ‘up your tank’ may have been more appropriate!
Take care Steve.
