New member here but also first time owner of an Audi.

We decided to go full EV as I couldn't see the point of a hybrid. Decided to go with the Q4 as it came with a free charger installation and was competitively priced.

Although it looks and feels (mostly) premium the sound quality from the audio system is below average at least with only basic options for adjusting bass/tremble and fader. No audio enhancements, no equaliser, etc. Reproduced sound is flat and lacking depth. I just wonder if the positioning of the speakers has something to do with the quality of the sound, but again having only a couple of basic adjustment options is disappointing.

That is a shame. Is it the standard sound system or one of the upgraded ones.

I've been seeing more and more posts across FB and multiple forums about people having the alternator failure related to the 48v mild hybrid system and wanted to see if anyone has had this issue and how their experience has been. I know in USA they have announced a TSB with an extended warranty for 7 years but I am trying to get more info from Audi UK but not getting anywhere. Has anyone had this issue and if so has Audi fixed it (if out of warranty)? It seems to be tha

Hi there - i checked through all the pages related to A5 but didn't see anything on this topic on issues with the one-touch open/close function. I have an Audi A5 Cab B9/F5 40 TFSI S line (pre-facelift) and on the cabriolets, you have 4 switches, one for each window, plus a 5th master which does all the windows at the same time. Each switch has the one-touch operation. The rear window switches and the 5th master switch work up/down with one touch no problems. Problem I have: The front window

I have a new A3 Black Edition auto. Within four weeks of delivery the engine cut out whilst driving, the drivetrain under positive power. The car rolled to a complete halt, the retardation entirely commensurate with the wheels driving a dead engine - it did not freewheel. The instrument panel remained powered and displayed no warning lights or fault messages. I shut the car down and after a pause restarted. Since then it has operated normally. I’ve had these wheels since I sold my old 2004 Allroad many years ago & now they’re just in the way, so if anyone wants them, they’re available in Weston-super-Mare! they were refurbished after I bought them, I used them as my summer wheels. I know 1 wheel had a chip in the lacquer, but that was it, they’ve been undercover in the garage ever since I Sold the car, So should be pretty much the same. free to collector if no takers I’ll have to scrap them.

Dear all. I have recently purchased a japanese Import 3.0 A6 Avant allroad. The MMI shows FM, AM and LW but no DAB. Is/was there an upgrade available from Audi or aftermarket when DAB became more commonplace.(Vauxhall offered DAB upgrade for my 2014 Zafira in 2015).

Hi can anyone help with this. I'm looking to code out the 'brake pad' wear limit reached message on dash. I managed to eliminate the orange brake light symbol when the message appears along with the audible by changing the long coding on VCDS but does anyone know where i can delete the message aswell on VCDS? New pads & discs fitted and also new genuine brake wear sensors but there seems to be that there might be a fault somewhere so im looking to de code it completley. See picture below

Hi, I'm looking for a engine/injector wiring loom that goes from the ECU (8P0 907 115 T Med 9.1) to the injectors (06F906036A) for a Audi A3 2008 2.0L TFSI Quattro due to an intermittent misfire issue on cylinder no. 4. Cost from TPS for genuine replacement is astronomical, any help would be appreciated (e.g. where to source a replacement, correct part no., etc)

Hi, following on from my previous thread, I have seen another car that I was interested in: https://www.evanshalshaw.com/search/details/used/audi/a5/automatic-petrol-white-coupe/06ce9494-f94d-f111-8fdd-000d3a874790/ When I enquired with the dealer, they said there is only one stamp in the book from February of this year, and no history at all in the Audi database. So there is only evidence of 1 service in almost 10 years. I am starting to get a bit !Removed! off with this actually, and it's real

Hello all After a year of owning my first RS6 c5. It seems I'm in need of new strut top mounts. Do any of you have experience of the 034 rubber mounts? I've seen they are solid vs original ones that have bearings. How much of a difference does this make. And on a side note has anyone used RB Racing brake disc. What's your thoughts? Any help will be much appreciated Pete
