Hi folks, i'm off tomorrow to look at a 2012 RS5. It'll be my 1st ever Audi , might as well jump in at the deep end!

Loads of research to do yet, no doubt i'll have a list of silly questions before long.

Took a drive to go see it today , it is beautiful. I honestly don't think i have seen a cleaner car in my life, as the owner has no children and the car was just for pleasure , nobody has ever sat in the back. Absolutley spotless inside and out , you'd think it was about to enter a concours competition.

One issue evident, the EPC light was on and the idle was a bit choppy. Possibly due to the length of time the car sits between journeys. It has done roughly 2k miles per year for the last 11 years. All the paperwork and past MOT's are there , every bit of work done to the car is listed and accounted for. All numbers match. It will go in to a local garage on monday to resolve the EPC issue, and once that is done it looks like i'll be the proud owner of one hell of a beautiful car. Fingers crossed for a quick turnaround.

Picking it up tomorrow , cannot wait. EPC issue was a sticky throttle body, now sorted.

Excited is an understatement.

I definitely will! I have a feeling i will be taking many hundreds of pictures of this car. For me this is a dream vehicle , never thought i would be able to buy one myself yet here we are.

Its going to feel like a long night in this house. Merry christmas to me!

Made it back safely in one piece , £30 of fuel to get home and endless smiles. Wow. The downshifts in dynamic mode are absolute eargasm material.

Can't wait to give it a good wash now if/when the rain ever stops.

Somebody pinch me

First pic after a little clean. So much polishing to do, not that it needs it but I'll be polishing it like a madman anyway. I do love a clean and shiny car IMG-20241219-WA0002.thumb.jpeg.904894aa72e88b474d38428daf5e85b2.jpeg
