2013 A7 tdi black edition

Featured Replies

Hi I'm new to this club and have just recently sold my 2011 A5 Sportback quattro and have since regretted it and been looking for a suitable replacement,

I've found a 2013 A7 black edition with 68k on the clock and loads of Audi history and 3 previous owners at a fiver under £13k

Would this be a model that club members would recommend,it's a nice looking car in very tidy condition.

The only thing I could fault was a slight ticking noise coming from the right hand side of the engine on start up but it quickly disappeared,

The car is on a dealer's forecourt and the sales fella tried to tell me timing chains last the life time of the car which I think is b****x and an  expensive job to replace I believe.

Any thoughts please.👍

They are expensive and kown to fail/stretch. You have to ask the question why did the 3rd ow we trade it in?

Dont bother with taking out a warranty though as most aren't worth the paper they're written on.

Check YouTube for buyers guides. Spec will be good. But if you want sat nav make sure it has it as it's an expensive upgrade.
