Replacing B9 climate control panel

Featured Replies

Hi, I have damaged the window of my climate control panel and would like to replace it with ( hopefully) a second hand one. If have all same features can I replace it and does it need recoding.

Thanks for any help

Never had to replace one so could not say about coding but would think that the electronic board could removed from existing unit and and fitted into the replacement unit if the damage is limited to the plastics

Have sourced a 2nd hand unit thanks ..... see how I get on dismantling😆

Hi Tim, were you able to switch it without recoding?

I have a slightly different issue with mine but might need to replace the whole unit like you. My temperature buttons stopped responding mid journey, it moves and twists fine however both the passenger and driver side temperature controls do not respond, the temp is now permanently stuck on high as it was cold this morning haha. All the other buttons work fine just can’t change the temperature. When I return home I will plug in and check for any codes first.
