Replacement part for damaged wing mirror - info request

Featured Replies

Hi all,

New member, recent car purchase....

Issue:

Whilst reversing, I managed to clip a gatepost and have damaged my right wing mirror in my A4 avant B9 (2022).

Only an internal front shell piece is damaged and the mirror functions perfectly.

From the attached images, it looks like it is part 3 that is required.

(Yes I know this lists it as a right side mirrror and shows a left one!)

Question:

Where could I find a replcement for that compoent; I assume that it is indeed  sold on its own?

Many thanks

Nigel

Item 3 will usually be a Audi supplied part only, many aftermarket mirrors come complete minus cap and glass, it would be worth popping the glass out and inspecting the main mirror body which part 3 fixes onto for any cracks as  as we often find further damage from impacts like this

We get our Audi parts from TPS which is vags official parts supplier. Dont know if they deal with the public. Just go into your dealers parts counter with that screen shot. Prices are unpredictable as some parts you think will be expensive ain’t and others thru the roof.

Guys

Many thanks for the feedbanck on this.

The ebay item does look good, but yes I'll take the glass out and give the whole unit a proper inspection.

Cheers
