Q5 tyres

Featured Replies

My Q5 (petrol) has tyres that are about seven years old.  Quite legal though (retired and low mileage).  I'm looking to change them as I appreciate that they go 'hard' as they get older.  The Q5 is a heavy car and i wondered if anyone could recommend a suitable tyre.  On another motoring forum I was just advise 'don't buy Chinese for a car like that'.

Cost not a problem, I just want the best.

Welcome Alan,

A family member has had favourable experience with Pirelli Scorpion Verde ( all season) on a 4x4 non- Audi.
Kind regards,

Gareth.

Thanks Gareth

These look just what I'm looking for.  I'll discuss these with the garage I use.

Alan

You are very welcome Alan.
The Evoque is now on its second replacement-from-new OE set, and  have done far better than expected, mileage wise.

The current set were on offer at National Tyres at the time, and unusually, worked out cheaper than competitors. NT is part of Halfords,

I would just do an on- line search to get best prices at reliable outlets.

Kind regards,

Gareth.
