I've made an enquiry of a well known supplier of VW/Audi audio system upgrades. Their reply was - So it very much looks as if we are all stuck with no DAB+ unless Audi come up with a hardware u

The solution is, all RMC HW H61 needs to be :- 1. Firmware updated to enable DAB+ decoding  2. H61 swapped for a DAB+ working version. The vehicles affected were sold as DAB+ ready.

I seem to be in the minority, all my DAB stations are working….at the moment?!

Was it exactly 1 month ago that the stations all came back?

Yes I think it might have been, maybe its a software update at the transmitters

I suppose it could be a single transmitter gone wonky this time

Has this just happened again? One minute all DAB stations working fine, the next, no DAB National again. This happened around 2pm today

I've still got an open case with [email protected] to understand why the last blackout happened.

Maybe individual enquiries from each of us would raise their awareness...

Ok thanks for letting me know, if as many people as possible can confirm on here overnight, then I will call Arqiva Arqiva - TV, Radio, Satellite Data Communications & Smart Metering tomorrow. The more evidence the better

Hi Liam yep mine are down again too

i would imagine that everyone affected by the initial “outage” early April are affected once again

A friend of mine is a non exec on the advisory board at OFCOM, will message him if Arqiva come up blank

Mine has stopped again. Happened a couple of times last week in Cornwall, about 20 minutes each time. Gone completely about 2.00 pm today in Bedfordshire

Thanks Dave, some people toward the Eastern side of the UK seem to be ok so far, but maybe they had replaced their original sound systems; don't know. It could be a regional issue this time, but have no idea, but will call the company that manages the DAB National network tomorrow Arqiva - TV, Radio, Satellite Data Communications & Smart Metering

Hmm, I am in the east of England and - so far - the stations are still there.

im south east brighton they have gone x

Yes my Dab started losing signal yesterday intermittently, today this pm has completely gone.

Same with my car radio - suddenly LBC stopped on DAB- I live in South East London!

After work turned on radio and all were missing, but then after a couple of flashes were back. Oxford area.

Just in...

Dear Mr Masser,

Thank you for contacting Ofcom recently about in-car DAB reception. I am sorry for the delay in responding to you.

The relevant DAB network operators have been looking into recent issues with certain vehicle infotainment systems. Although the issue appears to be related to the behaviour of these receivers in the presence of certain valid signalling (which is compliant with the international technical standards for the DAB system), the operators are exploring options for mitigating the issue in the future.

However, as the problem does not appear to be related to a technical fault or non-compliance on the part of the broadcasters, you may want to pass any further comments to the vehicle manufacturer direct.

Hi. I have exactly the same problem on my 2016 A3.

Thank you all for your endeavours to fix the problem, I hope mine will mend too......... ?

I'll have to check in the morning the I have the same software; RMC_EU_P16342  If this is still relevant ?

Have just scrolled to the top of my MEMORY list of radio stations and can't get 'Update Station List' I merely get the first Radio station in my list.

Does anyone have any clues how I get the 'Update Station List' prompt up please ?

I can't get my Mmi to come up with 'UPDATE STATION LIST'How did you get 'UPDATE STATION LIST' to appear at the top of your radio list ? Is that your list of radio channels saved in 'Memory' ?

This wasn’t my list of saved stations in the memory, it was the very top of the list of all stations. May be slightly different in an A3 to a Q3 but can’t be sure without comparing side by side.

Thank you for your speedy reply. I will try again today to find the list of ALL the stations.

One thing is for certain reading all the posts in this thread is that Audi will be of no help !

Thanks again.

How long have you had the car?

Your issue sounds like something completely different to what all experienced.

Check you dab antenna, wherever that might be on A3?

Mine has been fine for some weeks now, I did have issues caused by my dashcam. That may not be relevant to an A3 though as it depends where the radio aerial is located, on a Q3 it is in the rear window glass.

On a Q3 the Update Station List option is at the top of the main station listing screen on each waveband, it is NOT on the Memory list screen.

Thank you Richard. I can't seem to be able to navigate to a list of all stations ?????? I can get only as far as here.......... confused !
