Vibration

Featured Replies

Got a vibration coming from the engine or gearbox when in drive or reverse, the shaking seems to ease when accelerating but gets worse when idle or setting off but if I put the gearbox in neutral or park the problem stops, I have had both wheel bearings done recently, front discs and pads to solve other issues and the problem is still there.
the flywheel was changed about 10k miles ago so I doubt that is the issue the only other thing I have noticed is the passenger side engine mount is leaking slightly but seems to have dried up so I don’t know if it has any fluid left or if it’s another issue

it’s a 2010 Audi a6 c6 with a cvt gearbox

any help would be appreciated

thanks

I think you've answered your own question.

Thanks for your replies I will give this a try at some point this week, I have attached a video I’m in neutral to start with then put it in reverse and you can see the water shake more and my windows rattling

  • 1 month later...

I have the same issue, did you solve the problem?
