Hi, i’m new to owning a Audi. I have a 2013 A3 sport saloon. The system uses mmi. The 3g version with sd cards. I was wondering if it’s possible or worth getting the later system. For the apple car play, remote map updates and if it includes the surround sound setting. Any advice is welcome. Thanks for reading

Might be worth you speaking to autologics or Audi retrofits as members have used them and been pleased with the results 

I purchased a IDCore unit from Unique Auto for Android Auto, it does not come with a operation manual, is not as intuitive as an integrated Android Auto, is very clunky to operate, does not interface with the vehicle daylight sensor (for maps view). I had it installed by a local agent from their (Unique) web site. To be honest if I had been aware of the shortcomings I would not have purchased, I think it needs a touch screen to operate properly.
