Audi A6 diesel particulate filter replacement required

I am wondering if anyone else has come across the following problem we are experiencing at the moment, the warning light come on in the car and we booked in to Marshalls at Maidstone my local dealer, it was diagnosed to have the above, we  was then told that the repairs would not be carried out under the warranty and used the term driver profiling due to too many short trips, which I cannot understand as I travel from Maidstone to London at least 3 times a week and to my company's HQ in Suffolk weekly , would be grateful for any feedback if anyone else has had issues.

Maidstone to London is an hour each way; Maidstone to Framlingham is three hours each way. Those journeys should be more than enough to induce regular regenerations to keep the DPF clear. Have you had any engine or Adblue warnings other than DPF?

Might be a way simply to get Audi to honour the warranty. The franchise garage submit the claim and Audi UK authorise. Either way - the term probably isn't that helpful. It would be interesting to see the state of the EGR valve.

What's the mileage on this 2023 A6?

Hi usual scollops from a dealer, they want to sell you a new one with sensors probably north of 5k, please ask them if they can supply you with the following, A, soot level calculated B, soot load measured C, ash level, the calculated measurement is normally slightly higher as this is what tells the ECU to initiate a regeneration, if the calculated measurement is a lot higher than the measured it means a sensor EGT or DPF pressure sensor is misbehaving both are cheaper to replace by a long way, is it the engine light that is on code p2002 or is the DPF light on, if its the engine light that is on it is most likely the low pressure EGR blocked which is common on these engines but again no where near as expensive as a new full EGR, find a vag specialist near you and have a full diagnostic run done with a print out of the codes.
