High mileage Audi A4 b8

Hi

I want to buy a 2011 Audi a4 2.0 TFSI Dynamik S Tronic quattro

It is 84k miles in the UK.

But no service history.

The guy is selling it for 6600.

Is it risky buying this car

Hello Sulaimaan,

Where have you looked for service history?

Would you be buying it from a dealer or privately?

How long has the current registered owner owned it.

Have you checked the on-line MOT histories?

Have run run an HPI type check on it?

I’ve just used VCheck at just £9.99 - very comprehensive report.

Not sure about the 2.0 TFSi, but I believe 2011 was within the year band of skinny piston rings and high oil consumption.

Please come back to us with some answers.

Regards,

Gareth.

Notice you have revisited the forum, so are you going to come back to us with the requested answers, or an acknowledgement in principle on the advice you asked for?

No update, so regrettably this is another case of a member joining, posting a request for help and choosing to be simply disrespectful by not bothering to respond.
