Had the car a couple of weeks now generally seems in reasonable conditon for age and mileage. Air suspension appears to be working although the switch to lower the rear boot to get the dog in isn't.  No light and no power is this more likely electrical than mechanical?

I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. If bought from a dealer then I'd recommend getting it back to them asap as it's their duty to fix the vehicle free of charge in the first 30 days after sale

Thanks Steve - used car dealer was rubbish to be honest and won't reply to calls or messages! Checked the car out with the local Audi dealer who serviced the car from new and that was reassuring to some extent that the car has been looked after most of its life.

Will get it checked out.
