Hey there - Just purchased my first Audi.

Opted for a 2011 A6 Avant 2.7

Seems very well taken care of for its age and drove lovely on the test drive and since then. Covered 500 miles in last few days trying to get to know the car.

It does need a few minor problems like the AC sorting and Drivers door doesnt unlock with the button or key and heard suspension squeeze and click a bit when on start up and full lock.

What are the common faults with these cars and anything to look out for?

Hope everyone is doing well 🙏

Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch.

Have a look on YouTube buyers guides.

Check service history for proof of serving, gearbox oil changed etc. Make sure everything electrical works as some parts such as headlights or AC compressors can be expensive. Issues with the egr and dpf are well documented and make sure the mmi works.

Thanks Steve it'll be getting a full service in the coming weeks. I definitely need the AC working as it gets warm in there with the leather lol
