Autohold issues facelift 2016

Featured Replies

Hi all

Recently purchase a 2016 A3 8V facelift model. It had auto hold activated without the button being installed.

Someone attempted to change the start / stop settings but somehow deactivated the auto hold function. Now, anyone I ask says its impossible to code it in without the button.

I've seen posts on other forums for pre facelift cars but not facelift models. Can anyone who has the feature share the coding changes needed or their cars code with me? Would be very grateful.

If bought from a dealer within the last 30 days get it back to them to fix it which should be free of charge

Thanks Steve.

Unfortunately it was purchased from a private seller and if it was coded in, they don't know who by, either. The places I've reached out to are happy to do the more common changes like needle sweeps and locking functions but don't really have a clue when it comes to this feature.
