Featured Replies

Sorry im not mechanical minded and want to make sure what to purchase.

I have an audi a3 saloon 2017 but want to change the wheels for the 2017 rs3 wheels...Firstly will the wheels fit with the same bolt fixings and due to the rs3 having bigger brakes etc will I need spacers to eliminate any parts touching when wheels are attached.

Any information greatly recieved

If you really are not mechanically minded do not attempt this project yourself. Pay a professional to do it for you to avoid wasting money on the wrong parts or making the car the car dangerous.

And remember to tell your insurer that you have modified the car. Insurance companies love the huge premiums they can extract from the owners of modified cars.

This is the description of the wheels

The product is a set of genuine Audi S3 A3 Quattro 18" alloy wheels, with an offset of 51mm and a wheel width of 7.5mm. They have the manufacturer part number 8V0601025DS, designed to fit the Audi brand vehicles

OK, you really need to find out more then Jay, since quoted wheel width equates to a little over 1/4 inch.

Ive found out the wheels on my car are 5x112 bolt

Hi.

If you have any issues with insurance at all then please feel free to drop me a line.

Regards,

Dan.

7.5 j .  Is the width 7.5 inches ...  It's the et / offset size you need to be as close to what you have ATM .  Also the tyre sizes should be compatible as what's listed for your current car .

5 x 112 is the bolt holes to hub .

J size is the rim width in inches .

Et is the offset as to how far in or out of the wheel arch they will sit .
