TT mk 1 remap

Featured Replies

I am thinking of having a remap done ,nothing too radical but a bit more oomph  and better mpg would be nice.

My car is an 06 190 Quattro  roadster.with 100k on the clock. The car is running well although the mpg is not great, particularly on short runs  around town.

Would be good to hear from any of you guys that have had a remap done and and whether you thought it worthwhile.

  Thanks

Thanks cliffcoggin.Just read the forum comments on this subject.

I think I will forget the remap idea .It looks like the moment you change the manufacturers ECU parameters ( by a remap ) you open up Pandora's box on the potential impact on every sensor feeding into the ECU.Which makes sense when you think about it.

For the moment I will stick to getting  the wheels refurbed and the pixels sorted.
