This seems to fly in the face of the EU's "Right to Repair" directives - or whatever they call it, or is this just affecting the UK?

Sorry, haven’t a clue what this is about, and my instinct is to be suspicious of the total post. 

Unless my knowledge is way out of date, ErWin is where one goes to access all the VAG official workshop repair manuals. Like Haynes, but really detailed.
