Problem with both A/c screen and mmi screen going black.

Featured Replies

I have just bought a A6 Avant c8 which has the double screen with the lower one for the A/c and the top one for the mmi system. I went out today and everything was working perfectly then suddenly screens froze then went black. I am not able to see any of the controls but have noticed i can turn on the heated seats etc without being able to see anything. I have message that nothing is working due to the mmi switched off. Any ideas how this can be fixed?

Took it back to garage. It is booked in next week for full software update. Hopefully this will solve the issue. Will update after.

It will be the 4th update this year for MMI issues. I had trouble with my 2023 doing the same thing and an update fixed it. I have a loan 2025 A6 and the MMI is appalling. Drops bluetooth and wifi constantly and again, known issue awaiting a bug fix.

Full update which appears to have resolved the issue. Thank you to the garage for this. Great people and service.
