Model cars from movies and television

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, I am the now the gleeful owner of a 2019 A4 Avant - had it a week. However, I’m posting here to show you my model scrapyard diorama in which there are 200+ cars from films and TV, including the Audi from ‘I, Robot’. I show this set up at the Laughton Show in Sussex and will be doing a James Bond special version at the Amberley Museum 24 May 2026. IMG_9657.thumb.jpeg.84869f6fb71cbf211b920d8c4da2caf2.jpegIMG_1935.thumb.jpeg.18b8824cfb3a03667273e60e512a6ff1.jpegIMG_1935.thumb.jpeg.18b8824cfb3a03667273e60e512a6ff1.jpeg

That looks great, are they plastic model kits or do you build the cars from scratch?

I'm currently building a Nismo R34 gtr from Tamiya ztune.

Mostly matchbox, hotwheels, greenlight etc purchased as is, with many modified ones (like the I, Robot Audi) and a few scratchbuilt. The Plymouth Fury from Christine is a straight purchase for example but the Darnells Garage is scratch-built. Mostly 1:64 scale.
