2007 A6 3.0 TDI QUATTRO hot/cold air blowing at same time ?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, noticed this issue a few times now mainly on trips of over an hour. Whatever setting I have the heat or air con set to the passenger vents will blow really hot air while drivers side is blowing the correct temp. Windscreen blower will be really hot too. I have sync’d the driver/passenger controls to no avail. Any ideas/ advice appreciated.

I’ve recently noticed this issue on journeys over an hour or so. Regardless of the time of year, whatever temperature I choose, the passenger vents begin to blow really hot as does the windscreen vent ? The drivers vents blow to the set temperature. I have sync’d the drivers vent and passenger settings to no avail. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated. 👍👍

Thanks for your suggestion Steve. Car is having new front discs fitted mid January prior to MOT. I’ll get my mechanic to run a full diagnostic at the same time. 👍
