I wonder if anyone can help or has had the same issue.

I have a S6 eTron, an Evec wall charger (not smart), and am on an Eon Next Drive tariff.

I get cheap electricity from 0000-0600 so I am trying for the life of me to get the car to charge during that window. The charger is set to dumb plug and play (previously I have tried to let the charger control the overnight charging, but the car always gives a charging infrastructure error).

I currently have a home location set in the car with a preferred window from 0000-0540, and a departure time set at 0600, when I plug the car in, after it communicates with the charger, I get the rapid green flashing light indicating that the car it waiting to charge with a timer. However invariably about 15-30 minutes later. the car just starts charging no matter what time of day it is. I have tried everything I can think of, even tried to get the Eon Next App to control the car via smart charging, but it doesn’t even register when the car is plugged in so that is pretty useless.

I think we've seen similar issues with those on octopus. I think the issue is with the energy provider rather than the car. 

Thanks Steve, in what way? I don't have anything set up with Eon to control the car....
