I have recently purchased some rear led lights not realising the plugs are different for both inner and outer lights. Hopefully i can adapt them and any help would be greatly received

Hi in what way are they different, picture would be good.

The new leds have six pins on the outer lights as opposed to four on the old ones and inner lights are different too. I will add some pictures when I get to my car. Thanks
